Day 01: Hanoi – Thac Ba (L,D)
Morning starting from Hanoi we drive to Thac Ba Lake (180km) a beautiful artificial lake with its surrounding region home to variety of ethnic minorities like White Dao, Red Dao, Tay, Nung and Hmong. Among them, the White Dao with their white pants are the most beautifully dressed.
Upon arrival, check in the homestay where you will stay overnight. Start a light trek around the village to enjoy the fresh air and experience local untouched nature. Back to the homestay for dinner. You may join hands to prepare dinner with the host. Time for sharing and chatting. Overnight in the homestay.
Day 02: Thac Ba - Muong Lo (Nghia Lo) (B,L,D)
Thac Ba lake has an area of 23,400 ha comprising 1,331 islands and hills with diverse eco-system. Morning boat trip to discover this lake, a chance to jump into the clear water to wash all your tiredness.
Say good bye to our host, we then drive to Muong Lo – the town of Nghia Lo (about 110km), the second largest rice field in the Northwest Vietnam and also the homeland of Thai ethnic people. Thai people first came here grew rice and built their traditional wooden house of iron and bamboo around 700 years ago. Take a short walk of 2 hours around the village to discover Thai ethnic culture and daily life. Overnight at the guesthouse in Muong Lo
Day 03: Muong Lo – Tu Le (B,L,D)
Depart by the private car to Tu Le (50km), the road follows the mountains of Hoang Lien Son and winds through the rice terrace. Stop for starting you hike, enjoy the beautiful scenery and stop shooting on the way before reach the village of the Thai and H'mong ethnic minorities. People here are dressed in traditional costumes and welcome us with open arms. The local here still retain their traditional life stlye and customs and habits so that’s a good chance for someone who aims to study about the culture. Overnight at the local house

Day 04: Tu Le – Mu Cang Chai (B,L,D)
Continue drive along the mountainous road with spectacular scenery along the way to Mu Cang Chai (40km). Stop at Nga Ba Kim for a short break after hours on the private car. Start trekking until we reach the village of Thai and H’mong ethnic minorities. Stunning landscapes of terraced rice fields, mountains, clouds and wooden stilt houses, all like in a heaven of peace and simple happiness. Be warmly welcome by locals in their traditional costumes, see the H’mong women sitting by their loom and say hello to children past, you will truly get connected to the land and the people here. Dinner and overnight at the local house in Mu Cang Chai

Day 05: Mu Cang Chai – Sapa – Ta Van (B,L,D)
After having breakfast, driving nearly 3 hours to Sapa (130km), the road begins to climb up Tram Ton Pass, the highest pass of Vietnam (2047m). Stop for photos hunting and enjoying the fresh atmosphere. From here, you can also see the Fanxipan Mountain - “the roof of Indochina” (3143m) soaked in clouds. Arrive in Sapa at noon, visit colorful ethnic market and Sapa old town with some vestige of French colonial era. After lunch, we take a light trek, a bit long but easy out of the town to visit Ta Van village where the H’mong, Dao and Dzay ehtnic people live peacefully together. Overnight at homestay in Ta Van village
(3 hours driving, 3- 4h of easy trekking)
Day 06: Sapa – Lao Cai - night train to Hanoi (B,L,D)
In the morning, start trekking downhill to Giang Ta Chai village inhabited by Red Dzao ethnic group. Finish trekking, our car will pick you up and take you to Lao Cai station. En route, visit Ma Tra village home to Black H’Mong tribe. Overnight on train
Day 07: Hanoi arrival
Arrive in Hanoi around 05:30 am. Transfer to the hotel. End of our services.
